Responsibilities

  • Define analytical data requirements needed to support Marketing & Communications measurement, reporting, analytics products, and decision-making.
  • Translate business questions, KPIs, measurement strategies, and analytics product needs into clear analytical data and capability requirements.
  • Identify gaps between current-state data availability and the data needed to support priority analytical use cases.
  • Partner with Data, Technology, and AI teams to communicate analytical requirements, clarify dependencies, and represent Analytics Solutions needs.
  • Define reporting and analytical requirements that support consistent and scalable measurement across Cigna Healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Services, and Specialty Solutions.
  • Assess current analytical capabilities and identify gaps or opportunities that should be considered in the Analytics Solutions capability roadmap.
  • Help define future analytical capability needs based on evolving Marketing & Communications priorities.

  • Identify data and capability dependencies early in the development of new analytics solutions and coordinate with Data team to solution.
  • Assess potential new data sources, analytical capabilities, and technologies against defined Marketing & Communications use cases and requirements.
  • Facilitate alignment between business, analytics, and technical partners by translating analytical needs into clear requirements and intended business outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting processes and improve data quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging tech, data, analytics, and AI capabilities; and assess their potential relevance to Marketing & Communications analytical needs.
