Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the OneState team — a Social RolePlay game with a rapidly evolving infrastructure and growing scale.
You’ll work with geographically distributed infrastructure, Kubernetes, and backend services, help scale the system, and have a direct impact on technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale infrastructure for game services. Ensure the stability and reliability of production systems. Scale game services and infrastructure to support growing loads.
• Work at the intersection of infrastructure and backend development, helping teams develop, deploy, and maintain backend services.
• Develop observability systems, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting. Identify and resolve issues in production systems, from detection and diagnosis to implementing and validating solutions.
• Develop CI/CD and GitOps processes. Automate routine infrastructure operations and make technical decisions independently within your area of responsibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure. Experience working with geographically distributed infrastructure.
• Strong Kubernetes experience, including high-load infrastructure, architecture, scaling, and root cause analysis. Experience working with AWS/GCP. Deep understanding of Linux and networking.
• Experience with GitOps and CI/CD. Experience building and maintaining observability systems, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting, with the ability to independently identify and diagnose issues.
• Experience administering and optimizing relational and/or columnar databases. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
• A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make technical decisions independently.
• Willingness to work from one of the company's offices in Almaty, Tbilisi, Yerevan, or Limassol. Russian language proficiency at C1 level.
