Business Analyst I Vendor Payment Surveillance

Position Purpose:
Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function. This is a Hybrid role and not a traditional Business Analyst position.  Responsibilities of the role will cover elements involving Data Analysis (Claims, Encounters, Member Eligibility, etc.), Vendor Contract Analysis,  Business Process Analysis/Development, monthly Financial Analysis including audit reviews, payments and ad-hoc projects.

Remote nationwide Is available for this opportunity.

• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems.

• Basic/Intermediate knowledge and experince in Data Analytics, Reporting Analtics and Development, and Audit Reviews.

• Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Claims, Encounters, Authorizations and Prior Authorizations is a plus.

• Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Xcelys, Amysis, UMV, SAS, SQL or SnoFlake Environment is a plus.

• Basic experience of project management is a plus but not necessary.

• Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.

• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of business process analysis or data analysis experience. Project management experience preferred.

Pay Range: $27.02 - $48.55 per hour
