Job Summary:
Join the Digital Marketing Enablement – Platform Engineering team within Cat Digital to build, operate, and continuously improve enterprise digital experience platform capabilities. You will develop and support solutions across Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Vercel, Uniform, AEM Assets, Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, CDN and cloud technologies. In partnership with product owners, architects, developers, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams, you will improve platform reliability, performance, security, maintainability, and developer experience. • Improve platform reliability, security, performance, maintainability, monitoring, and observability through sound engineering practices and automation.
  • Lead or contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis, service restoration, and follow-through improvements for business-critical digital applications.
  • Partner with product, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to deliver platform enhancements, integrations, cloud migration, and modernization work.
  • Contribute to code quality, testing, technical documentation, governance, change management, and agile delivery practices.

What You Will Have:

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Software Integration Engineering: Working Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.
  • Software Product Design/Architecture: Extensive Experience of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into software product design.
  • Software Product Technical Knowledge: Working Knowledge of technical aspects of a software product; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.

Considerations for Top Candidates:

  • Demonstrated software development and platform engineering experience in enterprise digital environments; relevant education or equivalent practical experience is valued, with an advanced degree considered a plus rather than a prerequisite.
  • Strong hands-on experience with several of the following: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Vercel, Next.js, Uniform, Akamai or another enterprise CDN, edge computing, and AWS.
  • Experience operating and supporting cloud-based digital experience platforms, including monitoring, observability, automation, incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
  • Working knowledge of modern web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Web Components, plus CI/CD and cloud deployment practices.
  • Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams while advancing operational best practices, governance, change management, and service excellence.
