Short Summary:
Join Carta's Contracts team to manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts for clients, focusing on pre-M&A contract work with sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts, including NDAs and engagement letters.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted advisor relationships.
- Maintain and update client playbooks for consistency and quality in contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Carta's legal technology suite.

Requirement:
- 6-8+ years of post law school corporate or transactional experience.
- Experience with asset managers, investment banks, or financial services firms.
- Law Degree and licensed to practice in the Americas (US/Canada).
- Comfortable with legal technology and AI tools.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
