APS Cloud Specialist

Overview:

The leading bank in the European Union and a leading international player is seeking an APS Cloud Specialist. The profile will be a key member of the Wealth Management Application Production Support team, responsible for ensuring the stability, availability and operational excellence of critical banking applications and cloud-based platforms. The role combines Application Production Support expertise with Cloud, Automation and DevOps practices, contributing to incident management, service requests, production support activities, infrastructure automation and continuous service improvement. The consultant will actively participate in 24/7 support activities, Disaster Recovery exercises, Live Play events and cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring high service quality and operational resilience.

What will you do?

• Provide Application Production Support for Wealth Management IT applications and data platform services
• Handle incidents, service requests and production support activities according to SLA commitments
• Participate in shift rotations, on-call support and weekend/public holiday support activities
• Escalate production risks, operational issues and critical incidents to management in a timely manner
• Perform monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement activities to enhance service quality and availability
• Analyze application, middleware and system logs to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) tests and Live Play activities
• Review, create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles
• Support knowledge transfer activities and validate information shared by development teams
• Build and maintain Ansible Playbooks and Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment automation
• Train and support Operations teams on Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes technologies
• Contribute to operational excellence initiatives focused on reducing MTTD and MTTR

What are we looking for?

• Experience with Linux Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) Administration and Support
• Experience with Docker Containers and Containerized Platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation with Ansible
• Experience with Terraform Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Python and/or Bash Scripting
• Experience with PL/SQL and Database Troubleshooting
• Experience with CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse or similar)
• Experience with Application Monitoring and Observability Tools including Dynatrace
• Experience with Application Log Analysis and Production Troubleshooting
• Experience with ITIL Practices and Service Management Processes
• Experience with DevOps and Automation Engineering Practices
• Fluent in English
