Senior Frontend Engineer - Acquisition
We are seeking a strong Senior Frontend Engineer - Acquisition to join our Acquisition team. This is primarily a senior engineering role focused on frontend architecture, React/TypeScript expertise, performance, ownership, and solving complex problems across web and mobile app experiences.
This engineer will work on customer-facing digital experiences that support acquisition, conversion, and marketing initiatives across web and mobile app surfaces. The role will partner closely with Product, Design, Marketing, Brand, Analytics, and other engineering teams to build scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend applications.
While this role operates in an acquisition and marketing technology domain—CMS, SEO, analytics events, GA/GTM, RudderStack, Mixpanel, React Native surfaces, and deep linking—deep prior experience in every tool is not required. Strong engineering fundamentals are the primary hiring bar; the right engineer can quickly learn domain-specific tools and apply sound technical judgment.
This is a senior individual contributor role for an engineer who can own complex frontend problems end-to-end, contribute to architecture, and raise the engineering bar. Success means building scalable, high-quality web and mobile app experiences in an acquisition-focused environment where performance, experimentation, analytics accuracy, SEO, deep linking, and conversion matter.
-
Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant frontend applications across web and mobile app surfaces.
-
Lead technical initiatives that improve stability, performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
-
Own complex frontend features from discovery through delivery, including architecture, testing, launch, and iteration.
-
Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, Brand, Analytics, and Engineering to translate business needs into technical solutions.
-
Build acquisition and conversion experiences, including landing pages, registration flows, promotional surfaces, app entry points, and related growth experiences.
-
Contribute to React Native app experiences where acquisition, onboarding, deep linking, or cross-platform journeys intersect with mobile.
-
Develop reusable components, patterns, and frontend systems that scale across teams and use cases.
-
Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, SEO, and cross-platform quality.
-
Partner with marketing and analytics teams on event tracking, attribution, experimentation, and reporting.
-
Implement and maintain analytics instrumentation, including dataLayer events, GA4, GTM, RudderStack, Segment, or similar integrations.
-
Work with CMS-driven content experiences so business teams can manage content efficiently while engineering quality stays strong.
-
Support technical SEO needs such as metadata, structured data, canonical strategy, sitemaps, SSR/SSG, and page performance.
-
Support web-to-app acquisition journeys, including deep links, deferred deep links, app install paths, and attribution-aware flows.
-
Debug complex frontend issues across code, APIs, tracking, rendering, performance, and third-party integrations.
-
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to architectural decisions.
-
Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
-
Stay current with modern frontend technologies and introduce improvements where they create meaningful value.
What You Will Need

Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
-
Experience building reusable frontend systems and writing clean, testable code.
-
Experience with modern frontend tooling, build systems, CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and release practices.

High standards for code quality, testing, observability, and operational reliability.
-
Comfort across the frontend lifecycle: planning, architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and iteration.
-
Ability to mentor others and influence engineering direction without formal authority.
-
Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and business domains quickly.
Nice to Have / Domain Experience
