Social and Influencer Marketing Manager - Blue Nile

Blue Nile is seeking a strategic, culturally connected, and performance-driven Social and Influencer Marketing Manager to help shape Blue Nile’s presence across social media and the creator landscape. This role requires an exceptional creative thinker and proactive operator who anticipates opportunities, challenges conventional thinking, and turns audience insights and cultural moments into compelling brand storytelling.

The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of pop culture, emerging creators, and platform trends, paired with the judgment to determine what is relevant for an elevated jewelry brand. You will bring fresh ideas forward, translate strategy into exceptional execution, and continually identify opportunities to build brand distinction, deepen engagement, and drive measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Drive a proactive, insight-led social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook, translating brand priorities into platform-specific storytelling that builds awareness, consideration, and conversion.
• Keep Blue Nile ahead of the cultural conversation, identifying emerging trends, entertainment moments, consumer behaviors, and creator movements early—and bringing forward timely, brand-relevant ideas with clear recommendations for execution.
• Develop original, breakthrough creative concepts, including recurring franchises, unexpected collaborations, and social-first campaigns that give audiences a compelling reason to follow, engage with, and share Blue Nile.
• Anticipate needs and opportunities several steps ahead, proactively identifying content gaps, production requirements, partnership opportunities, and potential roadblocks, with solutions that keep work moving.
• Own a dynamic social content calendar, balancing long-term campaign planning, product launches, showroom activations, and retail milestones with the flexibility to capitalize on real-time opportunities.
• Lead content development from concept through publication, including creative briefs, scripts, shot lists, production coordination, on-set capture, editing feedback, captions, and final platform execution.
• Elevate every customer-facing touchpoint through thoughtful messaging, strong visual judgment, and an understanding of how to make luxury feel distinctive, approachable, and culturally relevant.
• Own daily publishing and community engagement, maintaining a consistent brand voice while turning audience questions, conversations, and feedback into actionable content and customer insights.
• Partner with leadership to execute and evolve the influencer marketing program, connecting ambassador partnerships, emerging creators, affiliate activity, and events to broader brand and business objectives.
• Continuously discover and evaluate talent, identifying both established and emerging voices with strong audience alignment, creative potential, credibility, and the ability to drive meaningful results.
• Develop compelling partnership concepts and creator briefs that balance brand priorities with each creator’s distinct voice, producing content that feels authentic and earns audience attention.
• Manage influencer partnerships from outreach through reporting, including negotiations, contracts, approvals, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, budgets, and posting timelines in collaboration with agency and internal partners.
• Maximize the value of every partnership, proactively identifying opportunities for additional storytelling, cross-channel amplification, paid media integration, and longer-term relationship development.
• Translate performance data into clear action, evaluating content and influencer results against established benchmarks and recommending what to scale, refine, test, or discontinue.
• Build a consistent test-and-learn approach, experimenting with formats, hooks, storytelling techniques, and platform features to improve performance and uncover new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Brand, Creative, PR, Paid Media, Ecommerce, and Showroom teams to connect social and influencer activity to integrated campaigns and the broader customer experience.
• Operate with strong ownership and attention to detail, bringing forward ideas without waiting for direction, communicating recommendations clearly, and following through from initial concept to measurable outcome.

Requirements

• 7+ years of social media and influencer marketing experience, ideally in luxury, jewelry, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle, with proven brand and ecommerce results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong pulse on pop culture, emerging creators, and digital trends, with sharp judgment on what fits the brand.
• Proactive thinker who anticipates needs, spots opportunities early, and brings solutions without waiting for direction.
• Portfolio showcasing original ideas, compelling storytelling, and elevated, platform-native content.
• Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook, including audience behavior and platform best practices.
• Hands-on ShopMy experience across creator recruitment, gifting, commissions, and optimization to drive traffic and sales.
• Strong content production skills, from concepts and scripts to directing, capturing, and editing, with a refined visual eye.
• Proven ability to manage influencer partnerships from talent discovery and negotiation through execution and reporting.
• Understanding of ambassador programs, affiliate marketing, usage rights, exclusivity, paid amplification, and disclosure requirements.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear briefs, feedback, and recommendations.
• Analytical mindset that connects performance to business goals and turns insights into action.
• Exceptional organization, budget management, and attention to detail across competing priorities.
• Confident collaborator who builds strong relationships across teams, agencies, and talent.
• Proficiency with social and influencer tools; CreatorIQ, Dash Social, and Sprinklr experience preferred.
