Short Summary:
Blockchain is seeking a Technical Lead for its Lending & Savings products. This hands-on role involves leading engineering direction, defining technical architecture, and mentoring a team of engineers while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of the Lending & Savings platform.
- Design and build scalable, secure, and highly available distributed systems.
- Make key architectural decisions balancing scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Remain hands-on, contributing production-quality code and reviewing critical changes.
- Drive engineering best practices across system design, testing, deployment, observability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and day-to-day leadership.
- Own the delivery of technical initiatives from design through production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customer-focused solutions.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team.
Requirement:
- Strong experience building backend systems using Kotlin or Java.
- Experience designing distributed, event-driven systems using Kafka or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, incident response, and production operations.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
