Marketing Analytics Manager— High-Growth Gaming Startup
Location: Remote (US-based, must be available for 9:30am ET standup)
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base + equity
Experience Level: 3+ years professional experience required
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed gaming startup operating at the intersection of real-money gaming and the creator economy. With a core product already in market and generating significant revenue, they're expanding their engineering team to meet demand and build out the next generation of features.
This is a high-stakes, high-impact opportunity to work on a social casino product used by thousands of players around the clock. The founding team is composed of seasoned entrepreneurs and engineers with backgrounds in crypto, gaming, and consumer tech — and they’re backed by top-tier investors.
The Role
This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity to be our client's first embedded analytics hire. Working directly with the Head of Analytics, you will own the measurement of acquisition efficiency and marketing ROI across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels.
You will connect media spend to player value, ensuring that all marketing investment decisions are evidence-based. This role is about moving beyond basic spreadsheet reporting to stand up foundational attribution and reporting infrastructure from scratch for a rapidly scaling platform.
What You’ll Do
- Paid Social Analytics & Optimization: Monitor and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager—audience segmentation, budget allocation, and A/B testing—and flag data-feed or tracking issues that affect measurement accuracy.
- Paid Search Agency Collaboration: Serve as the analytics point of contact for paid search agencies, translating performance and player-value trends into budget, bid-strategy, and keyword recommendations, and flagging quality-score optimization opportunities.
- Affiliate & Creator Reporting: Own partner- and creator-level performance reporting, including postback/S2S tracking accuracy and payout reconciliation, and partner with growth marketing on incrementality testing to separate genuine lift from last-click credit.
- Data Analysis & Performance Reporting: Build and maintain a de-duplicated attribution table spanning Paid, Affiliate, and Creator, consolidating spreadsheet reporting into a warehouse-backed source of truth, with BI dashboards and a shared metric dictionary linking spend to player value (CAC, LTV, ROAS, etc.).
- Cross-Platform Strategy, Budget Pacing & Forecasting: Develop cohesive budget-pacing forecasts across Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliate, and Creator with the Head of Analytics and FP&A, supporting CAC payback tracking and evaluating lifecycle-channel (email/SMS/push) integration.
What They're Looking For:
- 3+ years in marketing/growth or paid media analytics, with hands-on measurement experience across Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads—ideally in mobile gaming, iGaming, or a subscription/app-based consumer product.
- Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data modeling) to derive actionable insights and build ad hoc reporting.
- Direct experience with affiliate tracking/attribution platforms (e.g., Impact, Everflow, CJ Affiliate, Tune/HasOffers) and mobile measurement partners (e.g., AppsFlyer, Branch, Adjust).
- Experience building de-duplicated, multi-touch, or waterfall attribution across overlapping channels—specifically reconciling paid, affiliate, and creator claims on the same conversion.
- Proficiency with a modern BI/visualization tool (Metabase, Looker, or similar) and GA4 (Google Analytics 4).
- A professional background from a top-tier marketing/media agency, a high-growth gaming or consumer app company, or a paid marketing platform/tool provider.
- A highly organized self-starter who is comfortable working with ambiguous, evolving data infrastructure—this is a build-from-near-scratch environment, not a mature, fully-instrumented stack.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in a regulated gaming/sweepstakes environment.
- Experience reporting on creator/influencer partnership codes, payouts, or contracts.
- Familiarity with ad platform APIs (Meta Marketing API, Google Ads API, TikTok Ads API).
- Experience with Python and navigating large datasets.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- Remote-first and flexible. The team cares about outcomes, not hours. Work from anywhere in the U.S., or utilize the hybrid hubs in NYC and Miami.
- Greenfield opportunities. This is not a legacy stack. There’s massive room to shape data architecture, tooling, and processes from the ground up.
- Top-tier backers + market traction. The company is operating in an incredibly profitable industry and is already live with real users and revenue.
- Founding-team quality. You’ll work with some of the most capable operators in the space, all with prior startup successes under their belts.
Note: This role is only open to candidates based in the U.S. at this time. Sponsorship is not available. Must be available for standup at 9:30 AM EST.
