We are looking for
We're looking for a Lead Product Manager - Traveler Experience who will own the end-to-end traveler experience — search, booking, pre-trip preparation, in-trip support, disruption handling, and post-travel — and who approaches that journey as a builder, not just a roadmap manager. You ship real products before you write specs. You wire up AI workflows before you pitch them to engineering. You measure before and after, every time.
Your role in BizAway

• Own the traveler journey end-to-end — define the vision, strategy and roadmap from first search to post-travel activities: search & discovery, booking, trip management, real-time disruption handling, and post-trip flows.
• Design workflows — identify where multi-step automation (proactive rebooking, disruption recovery, pre-trip checklist, expense push) and replaces manual traveler
• Instrument and obsess over the journey — define the right business KPIs and product metrics that matter and run continuous experimentation to move them.
• Collaborate with CS and Operations — work closely with Customer Service and Travel Operations to identify where traveler friction generates support volume, and eliminate the root cause in the product.
• Build before you spec — use Cursor, Claude, and others internal tools to actually build part of the product that brings value to our travelers.
• Set the AI product bar — you follow the frontier closely enough to know what's real and what's not. You've tested models, read the evals, and have opinions on tradeoffs.

What we're looking for

• 5–8 years as a Product Manager, with at least 2–3 years in a consumer product with high interaction volume — travel, mobility, fintech, or productivity.
• Builder mentality over traditional Product Manager Role — You use Cursor, Claude, or equivalent tools to build. You don't wait for design and engineering to explore a problem and start to build a solution.
• Agentic workflow development — you understand how agentic systems actually work under the hood: orchestration patterns, tool use and function calling, memory and context management, and evaluation harnesses.
• Strong UX intuition — you have a sharp eye for what makes an experience feel lovable. You can give precise, actionable feedback on flows, microcopy, and information architecture.
• Data-driven — you link product metrics to business KPIs, define success before you build, and run A/B tests. You're comfortable to work data tools like Amplitude or similar analytics tools to analyze insights and take actions
• Travel context (strong plus) — you understand the real pain points of traveling, you've worked with or shipped products in travel, mobility, or adjacent domains. You're familiar with how GDS/NDC content works, how hotel and rail inventory is structured, and how corporate expense and approval flows affect booking behavior.
• Fluent in English (Spanish or Italian are a plus, not mandatory).

📄Contract type: Permanent 
🕓 Working hours: Full-time – 40h/week, from Monday to Friday
🏢 Hybrid Barcelona: We love the focus of remote work, but we also value the magic of high-bandwidth, in-person collaboration. You can work from home most of the time, but we expect you to swing by our Barcelona office a a couple of times a week to brainstorm, whiteboard UX flows, and grab a coffee with the team.
