Senior Product Designer
to join our Solution Group on a part-time basis as an expert supporting presales and discovery activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to define design workstreams in proposals: scope, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, team composition, and effort estimates that hold up in delivery
- Expertise in advising on design-side risk and effort drivers (legacy UI migration, multi-persona clinical workflows, accessibility, device form factors, white-labeling)
- Strong capability to extract product intent, user profiles, workflows, and constraints in collaboration with Business Analysts and Solution Architects
- Proficiency in converting PRDs, RFP/RFI packages, and call transcripts into user journeys, information architecture, and key-screen concepts at proposal speed
- Practical application of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), integrating them directly into scope and estimates.
- Experience supporting presales and discovery activities
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher level of English
Responsibilities:
- Join discovery and pre-discovery calls with prospective clients alongside the BA and Solution Architect
- Produce presales design artifacts at proposal speed: concept wireframes, hi-fi key screens, clickable prototypes, and design narratives for pitch decks
- Facilitate or co-facilitate discovery workshops (design sprints, journey mapping, feature prioritization) with client stakeholders
- Contribute to Discovery-phase proposals (design activities, timeline, and artifact list) and defend design scope and rationale directly with client stakeholders
- Translate PRDs, RFP/RFI packages, and call transcripts into actionable user journeys, information architecture, and key-screen concepts
Would Be a Plus:
- Design experience with awareness of usability engineering expectations in regulated products: IEC 62366 usability engineering process, FDA human factors engineering for SaMD/medical devices, and EU MDR implications for UI and labeling
- Understanding of how HIPAA/GDPR constraints, role-based access, audit trails, and consent flows shape UX decisions in clinical, payer, provider, and clinical-trial products
- Familiarity with relevant interoperability and clinical contexts (EHR embedding, FHIR-driven data models, DICOM viewers, patient-facing vs. clinician-facing UX) when shaping solutions
