The Opportunity

The Analyst, Regulatory Analysis and Implementation supports regulatory analysis, operational review, and implementation of regulatory requirements across jurisdictions in which BetMGM operates. The role translates regulatory changes into coordinated implementation actions and timelines, maintains regulatory documentation, and leverages approved AI tools to support analysis, planning, documentation, and implementation tracking.
Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Analysis and Implementation, the Analyst works autonomously within established procedures and with limited supervision. The expectation is that this role stays current on regulatory and industry trends, manages assigned workstreams and milestones, identifies patterns, recommends practical improvements, communicates with confidence and tact, and builds productive relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new and changing regulatory requirements across BetMGM jurisdictions.
• Translate requirements into implementation actions, workplans, milestones, and timelines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to confirm ownership, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Track progress, risks, decisions, and open issues; escalate barriers and provide timely updates.
• Use approved AI tools to support regulatory analysis, requirement mapping, implementation planning, documentation, and timeline monitoring.
• Maintain regulatory requirements, implementation actions, controls, evidence, and change history in approved systems.
• Oversee the substantive regulatory content of internal controls, policies, procedures, terms and conditions, and related documentation by identifying applicable requirements, reviewing proposed language, and confirming final language aligns with regulatory requirements.
• Support regulatory inquiries and examinations related to implementation status and evidence.
• Identify patterns and recommend improvements that increase accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Provide informal guidance and knowledge sharing to less-experienced team members.

• Own and coordinate the comment process for proposed bills, regulations, and rules, including gathering stakeholder input, developing and consolidating comments, obtaining appropriate internal review and coordinating timely submission.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager, Regulatory Analysis and Implementation.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
• 2-3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory analysis, regulatory change, implementation, or a related field
• Casino/Sports Wagering experience preferred
• Experience in drafting internal controls is preferred
• Experience in report writing and document management required
• Experience in reviewing, researching and comprehending regulations required
• Experience with GRC platforms and regulatory change or implementation-tracking processes preferred
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Understand the dynamics of competing business priorities
• Attention to detail and an analytical mind
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• High level of personal initiative and motivation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adjust messages for different audiences and handle sensitive matters with tact
• Professional, honest and reliable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using approved AI tools for research, analysis, planning, or workflow support preferred

Compensation

The pay range for this position is as follows:

64,400.00--85,900.00

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements 
As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations.  Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.  Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment.  Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.
In addition, candidates must comply with and support BetMGM's responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
