Responsibilities:
- Leads priorities, goals, performance reviews, and metrics for department and individual performance.
- Manages store replenishment carrier strategy and transportation initiatives to improve lead-times and costs.
- Directs daily operations for outbound freight to stores, ensuring balanced volume for DC networks.
- Manages and addresses issues related to capacity and store replenishment volume needs.
- Provides scorecards and leads carrier QBRs with action plans for improvements.
- Identifies and escalates carrier performance opportunities and resolves issues impacting delivery.
- Develops contingency plans and manages crisis situations as needed.
- Responsible for motivating, training, recruitment, retention, and career development of the Transportation Team.
