Short Summary:
Critical accounting role with key responsibilities for end-to-end management of the month-end close process, strategic communication with business leadership, maintenance of accounting systems, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting records.

Responsibilities:
- Leads the corporate Accounting team and develops financial accounting policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with federal regulations and standards.
- Provides financial analyses and recommendations for strategic planning.
- Coordinates the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation of the general ledger.
- Develops accounting organization strategies and establishes functional objectives.
- Monitors and manages the maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Oversees all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
- Collaborates with internal auditors and supports internal controls and accounting processes.
- Guides the analysis of accounting processes for cost evaluation and financial planning.

Requirement:
- Five years of progressive experience in an Accounting department managing transactions and systems.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and knowledge of Oracle; FloQast and Workiva Wdesk knowledge is helpful.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to influence and coach a diverse team.
