Head of Digital Assets

Responsibilities

• Own the digital assets roadmap, budget proposal and P&L.
• Translate demand from brokers, banks and direct clients into a defined instrument universe, pricing, distribution plan and launch priorities.
• Design the execution and counterparty model for each product. Distinguish agency spot, access to a specific exchange perpetual, matched-principal OTC contracts and exchange operation, and document what the client owns and who owes each obligation.
• Select and negotiate prime brokers, market makers, venues, custodians and execution platforms.
• Secure approved liquidity routes, settlement terms, financing, collateral treatment and rights to serve broker clients and their underlying customers.
• Build a diversified executable liquidity pool with streaming prices and block RFQ.
• Manage execution quality, fees and financing costs, accounting for shared hedge venues and the differences between perpetual contracts.
• Lead product classification and country eligibility work with Legal and Compliance.
• Partner with Risk and Treasury on counterparty limits, funding, liquidation, collateral, custody controls and the coverage required for a 24 hour market.
• Direct delivery with Product, Engineering and Operations: API integration, account and position records, funding calculations, reconciliation, reporting, incident response and tested recovery procedures.
• Use external systems initially and develop B2TRADER and B2CONNECT in stages.
• Own commercial launch and ongoing service quality.
• Develop anchor clients with Sales, structure B2B and direct-client propositions, and train Sales and Support.
• Hire the specialist team, resolve recurring client issues and improve the product using client feedback and business results.

Requirements

• A demonstrable record of launching or materially scaling an institutional crypto brokerage product, with personal responsibility for partner agreements, economics, implementation and live client service.
• Deep practical knowledge of spot, perpetual funding, OTC execution, collateral, custody, settlement and counterparty default exposure.
• Ability to explain why a multi-venue screen does not make all positions legally or economically interchangeable.
• Experience negotiating with institutional liquidity providers and prime brokers, and evaluating execution technology without treating software connectivity as credit or clearing.
• Experience leading regulated product delivery across Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Operations and Engineering, including incident management and commercial distribution.
• Evidence of building and leading a specialist team, owning a business plan and explaining complex products clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Professional English for negotiations and executive communication.
