Short Summary:
Axelera AI is a fast-growing AI semiconductor scale-up, seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial control and strengthen the internal financial control framework across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly and annual close process across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and IFRS compliance.
- Operate, maintain, and evidence the group’s internal financial control framework across all entities.
- Take ownership of financial compliance, maintaining a compliance calendar and escalating risks.
- Act as a senior point of escalation for the Payroll Specialist, AP Lead, and Financial Controller.
- Support the relationship with external auditors and year-end audit fieldwork.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and multi-entity consolidation.
- Drive process improvement and implement enhancements for IPO readiness.
- Own and optimise NetSuite as the group's core financial system.
- Identify and implement opportunities to use AI tools to streamline finance processes.
- Support ad hoc finance projects.
Requirement:
- Big 4 audit background or experience in a company that has undergone Big 4 audits.
- Proven experience in a fast-growing, multi-country scale-up environment.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience essential.
- Strong IFRS technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks and financial compliance.
- Comfortable working with AI tools to optimise finance processes.
- Based in the Netherlands, with willingness to travel to Eindhoven office 1–2 days per week.
- Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages a plus.
