Reports to: SVP of Marketing

Location: SF Bay Area

The Head of Growth is a hands-on commercial growth leader responsible for turning Avathon’s strategic enterprise accounts into buying-group engagement, qualified opportunities, pipeline, and bookings acceleration. You will lead a US–India growth organization spanning account-based marketing, demand generation, digital performance, marketing operations, and five SDRs based in the US and India. You are a member of the marketing leadership team responsible for turning a category-defining platform into durable, efficient ARR growth.

What you'll work on

• Own Avathon’s account-based growth strategy for priority enterprise accounts across six industrial verticals, in close partnership with Sales leadership.

• Build account tiers, buying-group maps, account plays, engagement programs, and executive outreach to create and accelerate qualified pipeline.

• Lead, coach, and establish operating standards for five SDRs, including research, outbound sequencing, qualification, handoffs, and meeting quality.

• Manage the India-based Associate Director, Growth Marketing & Digital, responsible for digital channels, performance campaigns, website, SEO, and campaign execution.

• Own Marketing Operations within Growth, including campaign automation, segmentation, nurture, experimentation, and marketing workflow priorities. Partner with RevOps on CRM architecture, data governance, routing, attribution standards, and revenue reporting.

• Coordinate integrated account programs with Product Marketing, Brand/Communications, Events, and Sales; align digital paid media with account and pipeline objectives.

• Establish disciplined growth measurement: buying-group coverage, account progression, accepted opportunities, sourced and influenced pipeline, deal velocity, SDR productivity, and program efficiency.

• Deploy AI-enabled account intelligence, personalization, campaign operations, and SDR productivity workflows with appropriate governance and human review.

• Launch a measurable 20-account pilot in the first 90 days, then scale proven programs across the priority account portfolio.

• Own Growth planning, budget allocation, agency and technology partnerships, experimentation, and executive performance reporting.

What we’re looking for

• 10–12+ years in enterprise B2B growth marketing, demand generation, or ABM, ideally in industrial technology, enterprise AI, infrastructure, or complex SaaS.

• Demonstrated ability to create pipeline and accelerate opportunities in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales environments.

• Experience designing and operating tiered named-account programs in close partnership with enterprise sales leaders.

• Proven leadership of distributed teams, including SDRs and digital/demand generation specialists, with clear performance management.

• Working fluency in Salesforce, HubSpot, marketing automation, account intelligence, sales engagement platforms, and performance analytics.

• Ability to integrate outbound, paid digital, executive engagement, content, and events into cohesive account programs.

• Strong commercial judgment, analytical discipline, experimentation mindset, and comfort operating hands-on in a lean, fast-scaling organization.

• Demonstrated use of AI for research, personalization, workflow automation, and productivity, with appropriate human review and governance.

• Equity in the form of stock options

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

• 401(k) participation
