At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

Our Maintenance team brings together experts with different areas of specialization in mechanical and electrical engineering. Within our manufacturing environment, we support a diverse and continuously growing fleet of advanced production and metrology equipment. Role and responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:

• Analyze equipment failures and production disruptions and identify sustainable technical solutions

• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities with internal stakeholders and external service providers

• Review and accept completed maintenance work to ensure equipment functionality and quality standards

• Serve as the technical point of contact for a defined portfolio of production equipment

• Manage technical sourcing activities for spare parts and external maintenance services

• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with equipment suppliers and manufacturing teams

• Drive equipment and process improvement initiatives to increase machine availability, reliability, and performance

In addition, you will be responsible for gas monitoring activities, including:

• Monitoring, operating, and maintaining gas detection and gas supply systems

• Performing calibration, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis on gas detection equipment

• Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, environmental requirements, and occupational health and safety regulations.

Education and experience

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a comparable technical field

• Alternatively, a successfully completed advanced technical qualification in Electrical Engineering

• Several years of experience in maintenance within a high-tech manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of working with complex production equipment involving gases, as well as common maintenance methodologies

• Experience in gas detection technology, including gas detection and gas supply systems, as well as gas monitoring

• Strong knowledge of gas detector calibration, explosion protection, and risk assessments

• Knowledge of documentation practices, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards

• Experience collaborating with technical suppliers and external service providers

• Fluent German language skills and good written and spoken English skills

• Willingness to participate in an on-call duty rotation (on-call support)

Als Teil unserer Präzisionsfertigung unterstützt du bei der Produktion optischer Komponenten, Baugruppen sowie Systeme aus Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik für unsere High-Tech-Kleinserien, Einzelteil- und Prototypenfertigung.

Deine Aufgaben
Als Instandhaltungsingenieur wirst du:

• Maschinenstörungen und Anlagenstillstände analysieren sowie nachhaltige technische Lösungen entwickeln

• Geplante und ungeplante Wartungs- und Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen mit internen Schnittstellen und externen Dienstleistern koordinieren

• Durchgeführte Instandhaltungsarbeiten hinsichtlich Funktionalität und Qualitätsanforderungen bewerten und abnehmen

• Als fachliche Ansprechperson für einen definierten Maschinenpark agieren

• Technische Beschaffungsaktivitäten für Ersatzteile und externe Serviceleistungen steuern

• Wartungs- und Instandhaltungspläne gemeinsam mit Lieferanten und Fertigungsbereichen entwickeln und optimieren

• Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung der Anlagenverfügbarkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und Prozessleistung umsetzen
   

Darüber hinaus übernimmst du Aufgaben im Bereich Gasmonitoring und bist verantwortlich für:

• Überwachung und Betreuung von Gaswarn- und Gasversorgungssystemen

• Kalibrierung, Wartung und Fehlersuche an Gasdetektoren

• Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorgaben, Umweltauflagen und Arbeitsschutzrichtlinien

Deine Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung

• Alternativ eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene technische Weiterbildung im Bereich Elektrotechnik

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Instandhaltung innerhalb eines High-Tech-Fertigungsumfelds

• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit komplexen Produktionsanlagen mit Gasen sowie entsprechenden gängigen Instandhaltungsmethoden

• Erfahrung im Bereich der Gaswarntechnik inklusive Gaswarn- und Gasversorgungssystemen sowie Gasmonitoring

• Gute Kenntnisse in der Kalibrierung von Gasdetektoren, Explosionsschutz und Gefährdungsbeurteilungen

• Kenntnisse in der Dokumentation, Compliance und behördlicher Vorgaben

• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit technischen Lieferanten und externen Dienstleistern

• Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

• Bereitschaft zur Rufbereitschaft
