DevOps/Cloud Engineer, Senior
Analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. Perform maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting for deployment tools. Create and maintain fully automated CD processes for multiple Linux environments, and create/update build/deployment scripts.
Support the integration, operation, change management, and maintenance of CD tools, and enable full automation of CD and testing. Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related documentation for CD operations as well as for developers, infrastructure, and O&M teams.
Onboard, train, and support developers on source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment processes based on established tools, policies, and standards. Enable DevOps by promoting code through Dev/Test, Staging, and Production environments. Troubleshoot issues across the CI/CD pipeline. AWS architecture, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform knowledge required.
- Leads and implements configurations to meet program and customer needs. Collaborates with cross functional teams for the deployment and enhancement of cloud services to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Provides oversight and consultation on various cloud strategies and serves as a lead on cloud projects.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in cloud solutions and services. Provides advanced technical and engineering support for internal groups and customers.
- Formulate detailed network, storage, and compute design specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic cloud environment.
- Develop cloud service strategies: Identity and Access Management, Security Groups, and CSP native services.
- Participate in migration planning and lead efforts related to infrastructure deployments.
- Train team on software engineering methodologies (e.g., Infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, architecture reviews, etc.) to ensure standardization of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to transform high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements.
- Validates operational requirements with project teams, management and client services groups for deployment and ongoing support.
- Approves and refines documentation for best practices as it relates to server infrastructure and cloud computing operational experience.
- Provides technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception through implementation.
- Assist with identifying and planning of potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience; Master’s Degree preferred
- Professional level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud.
- Architect level certification a plus
- 12+ years of IT experience with a combination of:
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
- 5+ years experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux based operating systems in an administrative/support/engineering capacity

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
