Collaborate in innovation in low-carbon building services and contribute to projects that directly address climate change challenges. Be responsible for innovative concepts, design planning and detailed design for building services electrical engineering.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Arup, you will:
Help develop innovative concepts and plan building services.
Assist with cost calculations and estimates, or perform them independently.
Coordinate project stakeholders and contractors.

We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about mechanical engineering design, sustainability and teamwork. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:
Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or a comparable qualification
4-5 years post-qualification practical experience as a mechanical engineer designer in a similar role.
Business-level/fluent written and spoken German (if based in Germany) or Polish (if based in Poland), and English.
We also value:
Strong technical knowledge of building services engineering, ideally with an initial specialisation in a specific building services discipline, such as HVAC or Public Health.
Knowledge of local standards and regulations.
BIM environments proficiency, particularly using Revit, and has experience with CAD.
Experience in Pharma, Data Centre or related fields.
