Job Description

Design, implement and maintain automated infrastructure and operational solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, PowerShell and Bash
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, VMware Aria Automation or similar technologies
Administer, configure and automate Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments
Manage and support virtualization and cloud platforms, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Analyse existing IT processes and workflows, identify improvement opportunities and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency and reliability
Implement infrastructure changes in accordance with ITIL-based change, configuration and release management processes
Provide second-line support to operational and project teams and coordinate with third-line support providers when required
Collaborate with multiple technical support groups to resolve complex infrastructure and automation issues
Evaluate, recommend and implement IT best practices, operational standards and security controls
Create, update and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and automation standards
Participate in project, coordination and technical review meetings and contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives
Communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders and management while supporting evolving business and technical requirements
