Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organisations.

Tasks:

• Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.
• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories,
• Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development
• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification,
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
• Analyses available systems
• Supports identification of options for potential solutions
• Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.
• Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence
• Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programmes for continuous improvements of business processes
• Responsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes
• Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)

Knowledge and skills:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of project experience relevant to the profile
• Required certificates (At least 1 certification among):
  • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent
  • Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent
  • or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
• Minimum English Language Proficiency: C1 (CEFR)
• Proven experience in at least one complete software solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN notation.
• Knowledge and experience in requirements and user story elicitation and analysis.
• Knowledge of analysis and modelling notations such as UML, including capability diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, logical data models, etc.
• Proficiency in modelling tools, such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively create and maintain analytical and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Specific requirements:

• Previous experience in the role of Business Analyst (BA) in a large-scale project, with a duration of more than 1 year and a budget exceeding €1M.
• Proven experience in the analysis of business processes, including Financial Management, Legal, HR, and other administrative processes, with additional experience in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, and Project Management considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis involving Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
