  • Serve as a liaison among internal teams, government stakeholders, industry partners, and other participating organizations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and track projects, stakeholder activities, deliverables, milestones, and action items.
  • Develop high-quality written materials, including executive briefings, reports, presentations, meeting materials, correspondence, and other leadership-level deliverables.
  • Translate technical, cybersecurity, policy, and programmatic information into clear communications tailored to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitate meetings, working sessions, stakeholder discussions, and follow-up activities.
  • Identify stakeholder needs, risks, dependencies, and emerging issues and provide recommendations to program leadership.
  • Provide consulting and advisory support related to stakeholder engagement, cybersecurity initiatives, program coordination, and partnership development.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder engagement records.
  • Support additional program management and coordination activities as required.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals from a technical, policy, or combined perspective.
  • Experience working with state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) organizations, including state or municipal governments, regional associations, or similar public-sector organizations.
  • Experience managing relationships with industry stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity industry partners or organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing executive-level deliverables, presentations, reports, briefings, and other professional written products.
  • Experience coordinating and managing projects, deliverables, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, organization, and general management skills.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, including the ability to assess stakeholder needs, synthesize information, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical, policy, program, and executive stakeholder groups.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Ability to understand and communicate cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop polished, concise, and executive-ready deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, consulting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, attention to detail, and responsiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting DHS, CISA, or another federal cybersecurity organization.
  • Familiarity with DHS/CISA organizational structures, mission areas, stakeholder engagement processes, and operating environment.
