Short Summary:
Aretum is seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer responsible for providing expert technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of a client application within an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support to maintain the client application
- Support development, enhancements, accessibility, integration, optimization, and maintenance
- Ensure availability and correct operations
- Work within a sprint-based development cycle
- Utilize knowledge of the AWS cloud environment, Python backend, and TypeScript front-end

Requirement:
- 5 years of backend development experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (3 years of additional experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree)
- Experience using modern software to prototype and deploy backend web applications
- Experience using web programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Python) and web development frameworks (e.g., Django, Rails)
- Experience developing and consuming web-based, RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems
- Proficiency with scalable search technology
- Competence in handling and scaling large data sets and their storage
- Experience using version control systems
- Experience working in a team environment that uses agile methodologies
- Experience authoring developer-friendly documentation
- Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
