We are looking for a Manager of Engineering Program Management with a strong track record delivering large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs. You are a proven people leader who thrives on developing teams and driving complex initiatives from concept through delivery. This is a fast-paced environment where technical depth, collaboration, and execution excellence drive success. This role leads program management and execution across a portfolio of Wallet, Payments and Commerce initiatives. You will partner directly with engineering and cross-functional teams across WPC and Apple Services to drive end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs. As a people leader, you will mentor and grow a team of Engineering Program Managers, establish operational best practices, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence. You are as comfortable presenting to executives as you are engaging with engineering teams on technical details.

• Lead end-to-end program execution across complex Wallet, Payments, and Commerce initiatives, from concept through launch and post-launch iteration.
• Partner closely with engineering leaders, product teams, and cross-functional partners to define program scope, milestones, and delivery strategies.
• Drive alignment across multiple teams and organizations, managing dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to ensure successful outcomes.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Engineering Program Managers while establishing operational excellence and best practices.
• Provide clear program visibility to executive leadership through structured communication, status reporting, and data-driven insights.
• Partner with senior leadership to continuously strengthen and scale the Engineering Program Management organization, including evaluating processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• 7+ years of experience in technical program and project management, including managing a team of program managers.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large cross-functional programs and roadmaps, identify risks, and drive results.
• Strong technical acumen, able to engage credibly with engineering teams on architecture, system design, and technical trade-offs.
• Skilled at navigating ambiguity, building alignment across competing priorities, and leading teams to successful delivery.
• Effective decision-maker who balances risks and benefits for the overall good of the organization.
• Results-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision in a cross-functional environment while managing program details and broader dependencies.
• Experience influencing and building trust with partners and senior executive leadership to move programs forward.

• Experience within payments, financial services, data, or analytics technology is highly desired.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills across a variety of audiences and organizational levels.
• Ability to facilitate technical design and architecture discussions and translate technical concepts into actionable project plans.
• Passion for mentoring and developing Engineering Program Managers, measuring success through the growth and impact of your team.
• Flexibility to handle directional change and concurrently manage multiple priorities.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,600 and $319,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
