Short Summary:
Anduril Industries is seeking a high-ownership Composite CNC Programmer/Operator to join the Composites/CNC team, focusing on building high-priority prototype hardware in a collaborative, hands-on, R&D environment.
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate large-format 5-axis CNC gantry routers and mills for advanced composite components.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to optimize Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Design and fabricate robust work holding, including custom vacuum fixtures.
- Troubleshoot unique machining challenges with composites.
- Perform in-process quality control and dimensional verification.
Requirement:
- 4+ years of CAM programming experience and 5+ years of hands-on CNC setup and operation.
- Deep understanding of machining complex composite materials.
- Strong command of G and M code, high-speed 5-axis machining, and experience with large-gantry 5-axis machines.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled data.
