Project Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, including creating reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components.
Implement and maintain Clean Architecture principles to ensure scalability, maintainability, testability, and clear separation of concerns across application layers.
Develop and maintain multi-module Android applications, applying modularization strategies and Feature API / Feature Implementation (API/Impl) approaches.
Utilize Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, StateFlow, and SharedFlow to implement asynchronous operations, reactive data streams, and efficient state management.
Apply MVI and MVVM architectural patterns to build scalable, maintainable, and predictable application features.
Develop and execute UI and Unit Tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and stability.
Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and manage networking, data serialization, error handling, and synchronization with backend services.
Use Android Architecture Components, including ViewModel, Navigation, and Room, and manage dependency injection with Koin while following best practices for lifecycle and scope management.
Must-haves
Proficiency in Jetpack Compose: Strong skills in developing user interfaces with Jetpack Compose, including creating custom components and adapting existing ones.
Knowledge of Clean Architecture: Understanding of Clean Architecture principles and the ability to apply them in designing the app's architecture to ensure scalability and testability.
Strong understanding of Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, StateFlow, and SharedFlow for asynchronous programming and reactive state management.
Experience with architectural patterns such as MVI and MVVM, including state management and unidirectional data flow approaches.
Experience working with multi-module Android applications, including implementation of modularization strategies and Feature API / Feature Implementation (API/Impl) approaches.
Experience in Writing UI and Unit Tests: Ability to write and maintain tests using tools such as JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing to ensure code quality.
Proficient in Kotlin: Deep knowledge of the Kotlin programming language, including syntax, standard libraries, and design patterns.
Familiarity with Android Architecture Components: Experience using components like ViewModel, Navigation, and Room.
Understanding UX/UI Design Principles: Awareness of user interface and experience design fundamentals, including working with layouts and prototypes.
Experience Integrating with RESTful APIs: Ability to interact with remote APIs and handle responses using libraries like Retrofit.
Knowledge of Koin: Proficiency in using Koin for dependency injection, experience integrating Koin with Android components
like ViewModels, WorkManager, and others. Understanding of Koin’s lifecycle management (e.g., single, factory, scoped) and its application in clean architecture.
Version Control System Knowledge: Experience with Git and an understanding of collaborative development processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of tools for automating the build and deployment of applications (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with designers, managers, and other developers to achieve common project goals.
