In one sentence
We are hiring a Program Director to lead end-to-end delivery of a large, multi-workstream technology platform for a major telecommunications client, serving as the senior coordination point across business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leadership to ensure complex software programs are executed at scale, aligned with operational needs, and delivered in line with business expectations.
What will your job look like?
- End-to-end program coordination across all streams ensuring a single, coherent delivery narrative.
- Drafting and refining Business requirements in close partnership with the Business Sponsor and application stakeholders, converting field and operational input into clear, actionable specifications.
- Connecting stakeholders across business, delivery, and technical functions, and proactively managing cross-functional dependencies before they become blockers.
- Driving program cadence, including planning cycles, status reviews, and executive reporting.
- Ensuring alignment between what delivery teams are building and what the business actually needs, closing the gap between technical execution and operational reality.
- Escalation management, surfacing conflicts or resourcing gaps early and driving them to resolution rather than letting them accumulate at the team level.
- Partnering with Systems Owners and technical leadership to ensure program plans remain technically grounded and feasible, not just commercially convenient.
- Building and maintaining governance artifacts, including RACI structures, program roadmaps, and status frameworks that can scale and repeat across future engagements.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first quarter, the ideal candidate will have established a program cadence that leadership trusts, resolved at least one significant cross-functional dependency that had previously stalled progress, and become the default point of contact stakeholders turn to when priorities need to be reconciled. Longer term, this person builds a program operating model that other engagements can replicate, rather than one that depends entirely on their personal effort to hold together.
All you need is...
- 8+ years of experience in program or delivery leadership roles, with direct accountability for large-scale software program outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience working within or closely alongside the telecommunications industry, with working familiarity with network operations, field deployment, or telecom-specific delivery models.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams (trains, modules, or equivalent) with competing priorities and interdependent timelines.
- Strong track record of translating ambiguous business and field input into structured requirements that delivery teams can execute against.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience operating at both executive and working-team levels simultaneously.
- Comfort operating in a client-facing, services-based delivery environment where commercial context shapes technical decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready status updates and governance documentation.
Preferred Qualification :
- Experience standing up or operating within a formal governance framework such as a RACI model across a multi-function delivery organization.
- Background in RAN network build, RF, Workflow and Process automation domains within telecom is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with hybrid onshore and offshore delivery models.
- PMP, SAFe, or equivalent program and agile delivery certifications.
- Prior experience building a program function intended to be replicable across multiple client accounts, rather than bespoke to a single engagement.
