Technical Data Analyst & AI Platform Specialist

Are you an experienced Senior Data & AI Platform Specialist with a solid background in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Advanced Data Governance, and Generative AI (Anthropic Claude & Copilot)?

We are looking for experienced professionals to join a strategic international technology transformation project for a European Multilateral Financial Organization, working within a complex, highly regulated, and mission-critical financial environment in Paris.

You will act as the technical specialist responsible for defining new data products, semantic models, governance frameworks, and AI-driven analytical capabilities on Microsoft Fabric. Your mission will be to ensure the reliability, traceability, semantic discovery, and decision-support capabilities of these platforms across their lifecycle.

The Project & Responsibilities

You will join a 12-month mission (renewable) within the Corporate Services – IT Directorate of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), supporting the modernization, semantic architecture, and AI expansion of their core data platform.

In collaboration with business analysts, functional experts, data engineers, and platform architects, your key responsibilities will include:

Data Products & Reporting Design: Analyze business and technical needs to specify new reporting, analytics, and data products. Design semantic models, KPIs, and advanced Power BI solutions.

Data Architecture & Governance: Validate data structures, transformations, and business rules. Define requirements for data quality, lineage, metadata enrichment, semantic discovery, and governance.

AI & Generative AI Solutions: Identify AI use cases on Microsoft Fabric. Design and implement AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot AI and Anthropic Claude for intelligent data processing, knowledge discovery, anomaly detection, automated reconciliation, and decision support.

Functional & Technical Deliverables: Produce functional specifications, technical documentation, architectural designs, and prototypes for data solutions.

Reusability & Interoperability: Design reusable components, services, and frameworks to scale consistency and interoperability across multiple business domains.

Location: On-site in Paris.

What We’re Looking For

Proven Seniority: Mandatory minimum of 10+ years of experience (or 15+ years for lead/expert level) in functional and technical data management within financial, banking, or complex enterprise environments.

BI & Data Engineering Stack: Solid track record in Business Intelligence, data product delivery, data platform architecture, advanced SQL, data modeling, semantic layers, and Power BI.

AI Integration Experience: Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-driven data solutions utilizing Microsoft Copilot AI and Anthropic Claude.

Governance & Architecture: In-depth knowledge of data governance, data lineage, metadata enrichment, quality validation, and KPI definition.

Languages: Excellent command (both oral and written) of English or French, with working knowledge of the other language.

Soft Skills: High autonomy, rigor, attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and excellent written/verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
