Why Alera Group? Collaborate with purpose. Build your career. Make an impact.

The Opportunity

Do you enjoy turning complex compensation challenges into practical solutions and building programs that help people grow?

Join Alera Group as a Compensation Consultant, helping design and build scalable compensation programs for a growing, complex national organization.

Reporting to the Vice President, Compensation, you'll serve as a senior individual contributor, independently leading initiatives from discovery through implementation. Your work will include career paths, job architecture and leveling, new compensation programs, and national pay practices.

You'll bring curiosity, research and sound judgment to loosely defined business needs, develop recommendations, and partner with leaders to put solutions into practice. Your focus will be on compensation discovery, design and development, working alongside colleagues who lead day-to-day program operations and Workday technical solutions.

  • Research market practices, analyze compensation data and conduct complex job pricing to address challenging situations and inform recommendations.
  • Design compensation programs, policies, decision tools and leader guidance, helping consolidate local pay practices into sustainable national approaches.
  • Partner across HR, Finance, Legal, HRIS and Learning & Development to translate designs into clear business requirements, communications and supporting processes.
