Short Summary:
Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform for global businesses, empowering over 250,000 businesses worldwide. The Information Security team works closely with engineering and IT to protect systems and data while enabling business agility.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a regional anchor for the security compliance team, focusing on specific regional requirements while integrating with global efforts.
- Become a trusted contact for regulatory bodies, customers, partners, and vendors; manage external perceptions of enterprise security.
- Manage the implementation and monitoring of security controls, refining and iterating processes.
- Implement AI and automation to streamline compliance and security work, including reporting and communications.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including standards, policies, and reporting metrics.
- Become a subject matter expert relied upon by Airwallex teams as a regional expert and generalist.

Requirement:
- Deep knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and control frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.
- Familiarity with Information Security concepts and practices; ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience with policy creation and maintenance in the context of security.
- Understanding of complex cloud environments and their impact on security and compliance.
- Passion for solving challenges in high-growth startups, especially in the fintech industry.
