Short Summary:
Airwallex is seeking a Financial Operations Manager in Singapore to lead global cash and transaction reconciliation, drive issue resolution, and enhance reconciliation controls and automation.

Responsibilities:
- Lead daily, weekly, and month-end reconciliations for cash and transaction flows across channels, entities, and regions.
- Manage reconciliation breaks end-to-end, including triage, investigation, root-cause analysis, and follow-up with relevant teams.
- Understand fund flows and transaction lifecycles to identify control gaps and design governance policies.
- Drive continuous improvement of reconciliation systems, tools, and workflows.
- Translate operational needs into clear requirements and partner with Product and Engineering for enhancements.
- Align reconciliation with product changes and standardize practices across regions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the reconciliation team, maintaining capacity planning and training.

Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Operations, reconciliation, or related roles; payments/fintech experience preferred.
- Proven track record in leading cash and transaction reconciliations and driving issues to closure.
- Strong understanding of payment flows and their mapping to ledger entries.
- Experience in process improvement and system automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- People leadership experience.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL/BI tools is a plus.
