About AgenticaAgentica is an AI automation startup that designs and deploys custom AI products and agents for B2B clients worldwide. The company builds production-ready AI systems that automate and replace manual business processes across helpdesks, internal tools, e-commerce, production, and other high-friction areas. Its team delivers practical agentic AI solutions for clients ranging from cybersecurity software distributors to global Web3 companies. The RoleYou'll own client projects and new product features across the full stack, working mainly on Python backends (80%) and TypeScript frontends (20%). This is hands-on work on production systems where quality, reliability, and data sensitivity matter. You'll participate in system design decisions and be responsible for shipping code that is clean, maintainable, and ready for client review. What You'll DoOwn projects end to end, from scoping through delivery. Take part in system design: data models, service boundaries, and how components communicate. Work closely with the business team on scope and the tech team on architecture. Build and maintain web applications using TypeScript, React, and Vite on the frontend. Build and maintain Python / FastAPI backends, including APIs, auth, and data models. Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, complex queries, and versioned migrations. Build against event-driven components and message queues (e.g., Kafka): producing, consuming, and handling retries, ordering, and at-least-once semantics. Participate in code review and contribute to technical documentation. Read, run, and fix CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or similar tools. What We're Looking For5+ years building production web applications. Python — very strong command of the language. This is the core of your daily work. PostgreSQL & SQL — solid relational experience: schema design, complex queries, migrations. NoSQL-only backgrounds are not a fit; we work exclusively with relational databases. Event-driven systems — experience working with message queues (Kafka or similar). You don't need to be a broker expert — but you must know what they are, have built against them, and understand the practical failure modes (retries, idempotency, ordering). System design — you can design a system from requirements: data model, components, communication patterns, and failure modes, without being handed a step-by-step plan. Independence and ownership — you are comfortable making decisions and solving problems on your own. When something breaks or is unclear, you dig in and ship a solution rather than waiting for instructions. AI as leverage, not a crutch — you're welcome (and expected) to use AI tools like Claude to boost your productivity. We're looking for engineers whose judgment comes first: you can design, debug, and defend your decisions on your own, and you treat model output as material to evaluate, not answers to copy. Strong TypeScript and React experience. Comfortable with Git, Docker, and CI/CD. Clear communication and a strong sense of ownership. You write code and documentation that a colleague can easily read and extend. Nice to HaveExperience with agent systems: LangChain, LangGraph, multi-step autonomous workflows. Hands-on work with AI automations in production: report generation, content summarization, autonomous batch jobs running unattended (e.g., overnight tasks). Knowledge of vector databases and graph stores: Qdrant, ChromaDB, Neo4j. Experience with business-process automation tools: n8n, Zapier. Breadth over narrow depth: you've owned applications end to end — from database through deployment and operations — ideally in smaller teams, rather than years of working on a single narrow slice of one large corporate system.
