Short Summary:
Affirm is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager to lead the design, consulting, and governance of our Internal Events function within the broader Places & Experiences team. This role will transform Internal Events into a proactive strategic partner, establishing frameworks and best practices for high-impact experiences in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities:
- Own the event design strategy and consulting model for Internal Events.
- Partner with business leaders to translate gathering objectives into intentional event formats.
- Develop and implement scalable event frameworks and planning methodologies.
- Establish governance and best practices for various events and experiences.
- Drive consistency in event quality and attendee experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve team gatherings with innovative formats.
- Establish and track key performance metrics related to events.
- Build and manage a portfolio view of Internal Events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support company priorities.
- Lead and develop a team of Event Leads.

Requirement:
- 8+ years of experience in event management or related fields.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Experience designing and leading complex events.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure in a growing organization.
- Experience in remote-first or high-growth environments is preferred.
