Location Details: Remote Location.
Position Schedule / Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Position Summary: Responsible for defining the quality and release strategy roadmap across multiple applications, including oversight of release management processes.
Lead and provide technical guidance to contract QA testing analysts across test analysis, design, execution, defect reporting, and resolution. Own testing strategy throughout the SDLC, partnering with program and project managers to align testing efforts with requirements, success criteria, schedules, resources, and delivery goals.

Manage planning and execution of product and system testing, including test approach, scope impacts, methodologies, tools, and automation strategies. Ensure testing activities validate functional and non-functional requirements and comply with established QA standards, policies, procedures, and best practices. Oversee end-to-end testing delivery, monitor progress, manage defects, report status to leadership, and drive resolution of cross-functional testing issues. Maintain test records, review documentation, recommend improvements, participate in phase-end reviews, and proactively address risks or release issues to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages relationship with contracted QA service provider.
Qualifications:
Required
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field or in the alternative a combination of education, certifications and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Experience:
- 5+ years relevant experience in areas of Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing
- Participating in and contributing to the development and documentation of business requirements
- Reviewing business requirements and technical design documents
- Identifying test conditions based on business requirements and technical design
- Developing test cases based on test conditions, business requirements and technical design
- Proactively identifying, researching and resolving problems
- Developing re-usable documentation
- Testing, working with or evaluating third party vendor packages
- Working in strong, positive team environments
- Analyzing test results for validity and correctness
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of the supported business functions, workflow, systems and transactions.
- Excellent understanding of system design processes, methodologies and testing tools.
- Project Management skills to effectively initiate, plan, execute, control and close out the work of the team to achieve the goals of the project and fulfill success criteria.
- Excellent communication and personal skills. Able to communicate with senior leadership
- Operating systems (e.g. MVS, AIX/UNIX/LINUX, Windows, iOS, Android, Mac)
- Knowledgeable in both Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Industry technology standards relative to infrastructure/architectural concepts, database design concepts, server languages
- Waterfall and agile methodologies
- Various test approaches and when each should be employed (Baseline, Parallel, Black Box, White Box, Gray Box, etc.)

What You'll Own
- Govern Day-to-day QA delivery for assigned tracks — test plans, estimates, execution schedules, and on-time completion against sprint and release milestones by working with consultants.
- Leading and mentoring a team of QA consultants: work allocation, capacity planning, onboarding, and holding the team accountable to agreed SLAs and quality standards.
- Applying the CoE's QA standards — test plans, entry/exit criteria and quality gates — and raising exceptions to the Sr. Manager where a track needs a deviation.
- Expanding automation coverage on your tracks, reducing manual regression effort, and keeping automated suites running reliably within existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Governing AI-assisted testing involving test case generation, self-healing automation, defect triage support and test data creation — and measure the KPI with the AI output for accuracy before it is relied upon.
- Release readiness for your tracks: managing dependencies and risks, and providing a clear QA recommendation into go/no-go calls with engineering, product and business stakeholders.
- Review the quality metrics for your tracks — defect trends, coverage, escape rate, automation pass rate, release health — into the CoE's reporting cadence.
- Supporting QA partner transition activity on your tracks: knowledge transfer sessions, shadow and reverse-shadow execution, evidence capture and exit-criteria sign-off, while protecting inflight delivery.

- Domain exposure to Insurance, Claims, Salesforce platforms.
- Hands-on experience with building Agentic AI solutions and leading such delivery models.
- API or performance testing familiarity.
- ISTQB, CSM or equivalent certification.
FLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.

Compensation
QA Manager will earn a competitive annual salary of $96,345.60 – $149,843.20 with annual bonus potential, based on performance.

Time Off & Leave
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment.
- Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements.
- Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month.
- Paid Holidays:
- Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
- Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
