data Scientist

abra professional services is seeking a Data Scientist.

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join a model development team and lead the development of strategic, enterprise-wide AI and machine learning initiatives across business domains.

This role requires strong hands-on experience in end-to-end model development, classic machine learning, classification and regression models, tabular data, data analysis, Python, and translating business requirements into technical and analytical solutions.

A full-time hybrid position based in Central Israel, with 1 day a week remote.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models on AWS-based infrastructure.
2. Derive actionable insights from data using advanced analytical tools and artificial intelligence technologies.
3. Define algorithmic solutions to address complex business challenges.
4. Analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
5. Present analytical findings and strategic business insights to stakeholders.
6. Evaluate and measure model performance and effectiveness.

mandatory requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end model development.

• Mandatory hands-on experience with machine learning models for classification and regression.

• At least 5 years of experience processing and analyzing large-scale tabular datasets.

• Proven hands-on experience in Python development.

• Strong experience in data analysis and data preparation for models.

• Strong experience in the data domain.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical and analytical solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
