Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery (all genders)

As a Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery (all genders), you will be the technical and operational backbone for enterprise client implementations. You will lead client onboarding from start to finish, from aligning architecture and scoping integration to go-live and early operations. You bridge the gap between complex software systems, client business needs and implementation partners.

• End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Take complete accountability for steering complex, multi-stakeholder IT implementations and SaaS onboardings, managing scope, roadmaps, budgets, resource planning, and risk mitigation strategies independently.
• Deep Technical Alignment & Solution Delivery: Act as an authoritative technical sparring partner for client architects, system integrators, and internal engineering teams. Translate platform capabilities (APIs, webhooks, microservices, headless setup) into robust project deliverables.
• Partner & Agency Orchestration: Flexibly steer external implementation partner agencies and systems integrators, critically validating technical delivery milestones, integration architectures, and quality gates.
• Stakeholder Management on Senior Level: Run status calls, steering committees, and milestone reviews with C-level and senior technical leaders from high-profile retail and brand clients.
• Process Excellence & Problem Solving: Proactively address complex integration bottlenecks, manage trade-offs under evolving platform requirements, and drive best practices across our delivery playbook.

• Proven Seniority: 5+ years of hands-on experience5 independently managing large-scale, complex IT integration and e-commerce projects from initial scoping to production go-live.
• In-Depth Technical Understanding: Strong foundation in modern software architecture patterns, headless/composable commerce, API-first environments (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and system integrations (ERP, OMS, PIM, payment gateways). You understand technical constraints, data flows, and can challenge technical estimates constructively.
• German (at least C1 / fluent to business-fluent level): Essential, as you will lead project steering, workshops, and delivery communication with our enterprise clients in the DACH market.
• English (fluent / C1): Essential for day-to-day internal collaboration across international product and engineering teams.
• Methodological & Tool Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery frameworks, alongside strong experience with Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.
• Partner & Agency Governance: Demonstrated experience managing external system integrators, agencies, and cross-functional vendor teams without direct hierarchical authority.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent substantial technical project experience.

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications in Project Management or Agile practices (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PSPO, PSM).
• Prior background in SaaS platform onboarding, enterprise e-commerce platforms, or system consulting.
