Short Summary:
Abbeal is hiring three Web Frontend Engineers on permanent contracts for a long-term engagement with a leading Japanese mobile payments company. You will build web features of a payment product used by consumers and merchants across Japan.

Responsibilities:
- Work with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to implement features end to end
- Build secure web frontends in TypeScript with Vue.js (preferred) or React, on a micro-frontend setup (single-spa)
- Contribute through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and feedback on engineering best practices
- Triage, debug, and fix product issues, with Sentry, Kibana, NewRelic, and Google Analytics for observability
- Ship through the existing chain: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform on AWS

Requirement:
- Currently based in Japan with valid work authorization — no relocation or visa sponsorship from overseas for this role
- 5+ years of industry experience building secure web frontend applications (JavaScript and/or transpiled languages)
- 1+ year of industry experience with Vue.js (preferred) or React
- Sound software engineering practices and solid computer science fundamentals
- Business-level English (required for this role)
