.Net Backend Developer

We're hiring an experienced backend engineer to integrate our ATS, Teamtailor, into 7N s ecosystem. You'll connect it with our systems and bring its data back to where it's needed, including our Dynamics-based CRM and AgentHub, our platform for matching clients with the right consultants. You'll own this project and work on it alongside other teams in the organization, with developers and architects around you for support and sparring. Many of them already use AI tools heavily and want to push further, and we're looking for an engineer who shares that mindset and uses AI to ship faster and better. Your focus is the ATS integration. Event-driven flows between Teamtailor and our systems are the core of the work, and if you see opportunities to improve things, whether with AI or otherwise, we'd like to hear your suggestions. TasksBuild and evolve the integration between Teamtailor and our ecosystem in . NET, running on our Kubernetes infrastructure in Azure. Bring suggestions on where AI could add value in the integration, such as enrichment and automation. Pair with our architects on big technical calls; own the domains you work in end to- end. Build reliable integrations with Teamtailor and other external systems: webhooks, REST APIs, and event streaming via Azure Event Hubs (retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, versioning). Apply DDD to keep the system aligned with how recruitment and consultant matching actually work. Design secure-by-default systems (OAuth2, JWT, managed identities, rate limiting). Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and whatever comes next) to move faster, and critically evaluate what they produce, especially for distributed systems edge cases. Own production for business-critical workloads: monitoring, alerting, tracing and dashboards that show. ExpectationsSolid backend experience (roughly 7+ years) building distributed systems in . NET, including running services on Kubernetes in Azure. Python for AI/ML workloads is a nice-to-have. Strong architectural judgment and the willingness to make calls and defend them. Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) into production systems, or a clear track record that suggests you'll pick it up fast. We're model agnostic and not locked into a single provider. Calibrated views on AI tooling: enthusiastic about what it does well, honest about where it falls short, and effective at using it day-to-day. Deep understanding of system reliability, scalability, and failure modes, and hands-on experience monitoring production systems (logs, metrics, traces, alerting). Hands-on experience with event-driven integration: webhooks, REST APIs, and messaging/streaming platforms such as Azure Event Hubs.
