UX/UI Designer for Audio

At 3Shape Audio, a Copenhagen-based technology company, we are transforming the hearing aid industry through innovation. Building on more than 25 years of pioneering digital workflows, we are now accelerating the shift toward AI-powered automation of hearing aid design, making custom hearing solutions more accessible to people around the world.

To support this journey, we are looking for a UX Designer to join our team and help define the next generation of software used by hearing care professionals globally.

In this role, you will work across the full design process, from understanding user needs and shaping experiences to designing interfaces and validating solutions through user feedback.

What you’ll do:

• Translate complex hearing design workflows into intuitive user journeys and coherent end-to-end experiences

• Participate into the discovery phase: including user research, journey mapping, and workflow definition across features and products

• Ensure design consistency by contributing to shared patterns, components, and UX standards

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and domain experts to shape solutions and influence decisions

• Create wireframes, UI concepts, and prototypes from early discovery to final delivery

• Validate design decisions through user feedback and usability testing

What we’re looking for:

• Strong UX background with a focus on user journeys and workflows in complex systems

• Ability to independently own the full design process

• Working knowledge of UI design, with the ability to deliver high-quality interfaces

• Solid understanding of user-centered design and usability principles

• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years working with UX/UI design for digital products

• Educational background in Design Engineering, IT University, or a related field

• Previous experience with B2B environments, working with complex web and on-premises software

• Ability to take ownership across the full lifecycle, from discovery through delivery

• Exposure to med-tech or health-tech is a plus
