Short Summary:
The Director - Software Engineering is responsible for shaping the technical and delivery direction of 3Cloud’s Software Engineering practice, ensuring delivery excellence, team development, and organizational maturity. This role blends strategic technical influence, practice leadership, and people leadership, focusing on client and financial success.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the technical vision for Software Engineering across the practice.
- Establish and evolve reference architectures and engineering standards for modern application development on Azure.
- Provide architectural oversight on key engagements.
- Support delivery teams through guidance and coaching.
- Help clients mature their engineering and delivery practices.
- Monitor engagement performance and client satisfaction.
- Develop and grow managers and senior engineers through coaching and feedback.
- Drive development of practice-wide training and reusable assets.
- Collaborate with other Directors and Practice Leaders to ensure cohesive solutions.

Requirement:
- 14+ years of experience in application development and/or software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture and leading development teams.
- Expertise with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred).
- Strong background in modern software engineering practices.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
