Join Zalando’s Creator Management team as a Senior Strategic Projects Manager and help shape how we plan, activate, and scale our creator community. We’re changing influencer marketing by building a high-performing network of creators who drive engagement and brand affinity.

As Senior Strategic Projects Manager, your focus will be dedicated to leading complex, end-to-end strategic initiatives. You will navigate high ambiguity to build scalable models and set up governance standards to deliver success. You will oversee how creator and content projects are strategically scoped, designed, delivered and measured, translating learnings into systematic improvements. You’ll be a social-first native, deeply understanding how to design connected customer journeys and deliver impact with creator content.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
 

• Lead Strategic Projects End-to-End:
  Spearhead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives across the Business. You will navigate high levels of ambiguity to design and implement new operating models, scale major local market activations, and design innovative creator frameworks for proposition teams (like beauty, sports, and kids) from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and enabling additional strategic projects across the department, ensuring cross-functional alignment and maintaining the overall project pipeline to drive continuous innovation.
   

• Design & Scale Creator Strategies:
  Use your robust project management practices and highly adapt them to the changing needs of the Business. You will set up completely new ways of working with content creators, designing comprehensive strategies to activate and scale a diverse, multi-tiered ecosystem and remove redundancies in current practices .Act as the strategic pulse of social media. Translate platform trends and consumer behavior into actionable, scalable content strategies. You will collaborate closely with external agencies, Paid Media, and Social Media teams to inform a universal strategy across all creator touchpoints.
   

• Define Core Processes & Frameworks:
  You’ll be responsible for working with broader Marketing and Product teams to define, overhaul, and improve our biggest initiatives, representing the function proactively and acting as a subject matter expert for the creator and content teams.
   

• Drive Operational Standards and Improvements:
  Spearhead the evolution of our creator programs by identifying opportunities for operational excellence at scale. Experiment with new tooling, collaborate closely with product and tech teams, and optimize our ways of working to future-proof the program. You will implement and monitor controls for budget, time, resources and risk to ensure projects deliver on time and maintain strategic impact.
   

• Champion the Creator Experience:
  Act as the ultimate strategic voice for creators. Gather feedback (e.g., via the design and execution of creator surveys and interviews) to inform and implement new strategic creator management initiatives.
   

• Analyse Performance & Champion Engagement Testing:
  Leverage insights from multiple data sources for performance reporting against strategic goals. You will heavily champion engagement testing, running experiments to validate what content resonates best, and turn campaign post-mortems into repeatable, large-scale process changes.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
 

• You bring 7+ years of relevant work experience in a project management role within fashion, lifestyle, or influencer marketing, with a heavy background at a top-tier agency or leading brand successfully scaling and setting up processes and ways of working with content creators.

• You are a strategic powerhouse who thrives in ambiguity, with a proven track record of leading complex, end-to-end strategic projects from conception to execution.

• You have a deep understanding of the creator economy and possess an analytical eye for great content; you know exactly how to build comprehensive strategies across varying content platforms. 

• You have a deep understanding of social platforms and experience working with product teams to develop front-end and back-end tools for creators. 

• You understand how to decipher between operational and tooling improvements and can build SOPs to optimise for both. 

• You excel at driving operational improvements, are comfortable experimenting with creator tools and have experience collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

• You have exceptional organizational and coordination skills, with keen attention to detail to ensure complex projects are completed on time and in full.

• You are an articulate communicator who can engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across teams (fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus).

• You possess a growth mindset and are eager to learn and develop new skills in the fast-paced e-commerce landscape.

• You have a strong interest in fashion, sport, and/or beauty in a content and brand space.
