Short Summary:
Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology, enabling sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We are building a proactive and scalable Production Technical Department (PTA) and looking for a senior engineer to enhance production test and process capability.
Responsibilities:
- Own workstation technical stability (tools, fixtures/jigs, settings, controlled parameters), repeatability, and change validation.
- Drive proactive and continuous improvement: top-loss reviews, error-proofing roadmap, recurring defect loops, station stability checks.
- Scale and standardize End-of-Line (EOL) test benches and improve diagnostics to catch defects early.
- Maintain verification routines for production tools/test equipment (calibration cycles, daily checks, “golden sample” approach).
- Develop processes and tools to diagnose, repair, and reuse internal modules.
- Act as the Level 2 technical authority, performing autopsies on failed units to identify root causes.
- Own production-floor readiness deliverables for test/process/tooling and documentation updates.
- Own SOP/work-instruction updates for production processes and test methods.
- Escalate to R&D for specialist review when issues require design decisions.
Requirement:
- Proven track record in PTA / Manufacturing Engineering / Service Engineering, with experience in electrical test/diagnostics and mechanical/process engineering.
- Strong electronics troubleshooting and test background.
- Experience with change control, controlled parameters, verification routines, and stability monitoring.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar; knowledge of SPC and data analysis.
- Passionate about sustainability and reducing waste through efficiency.
Benefits:
- Opportunity to build and shape a PTA function with real ownership and measurable impact.
- Central role impacting delivery during peak seasons and supporting scalability and automation readiness.
- Feedback loop where your work influences future camera designs through DFM/DFT input.
- Innovative office environment with an indoor ball court, rooftop terrace, and well-equipped gym.
We value diversity and inclusion and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
