Short Summary:
Twilio is looking for a curious, action-oriented financial analyst for the Deal Desk Team to support North American Go-to-Market efforts. This role involves evaluating, structuring, and executing deals while optimizing corporate margin goals.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
- Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by analyzing tradeoffs across price, volume, and risk.
- Build, maintain, and review financial models and pricing scenarios for non-standard deal requests.
- Own the end-to-end Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce/CPQ, ensuring data integrity and policy compliance.
- Establish trusted relationships across Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity.
- Act as a guardrail and educator for Sales and GTM teams, ensuring adherence to internal policies.
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review and structure non-standard contract language.
- Surface recurring deal patterns and operational friction points to improve Deal Desk workflows.
Requirement:
- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or an analytical GTM/Deal Desk role.
- Demonstrated analytical and financial skills with a firm understanding of core financial concepts.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with experience in building financial models.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple high-velocity requests.
- A self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and high integrity.
