Short Summary:
Join The Exploration Company as an AIT intern to help qualify thermo-mechanical processes for the Flight Model 1 of Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Qualifying processes and preparing test plans
- Writing procedures
- Supporting the Thermal Control System setup preparation and test
- Defining the integration and test sequence
- Procuring parts for testing
- Supporting the qualification of several processes (e.g., bonding and calibration of sensors)
- Preparing test plans and procedures
- Supporting the Active Thermal Control System integration and test
- Improving processes and procedures based on lessons learned
Requirement:
- Currently studying for a master's engineering degree
- Experience with Siemens NX, thermal setups, MES procedure writing, ERP inventory management, and cleanroom environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach
- Team spirit and problem-solving abilities
