Short Summary:
Leading end-to-end security certification projects, ensuring high-assurance compliance for SUSE's enterprise portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Certification Ownership: Drive complex certification cycles (e.g., Common Criteria, FIPS) from initiation to completion.
- Milestone & Requirement Integration: Translate security functional/assurance requirements into actionable engineering milestones.
- Authority & Lab Interface: Act as the primary interface for evaluation labs and international certification bodies.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise across Engineering, PM, external consultants, and partners.
- Secure Environment Rigor: Manage projects handling sensitive security data and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Knowledge Enablement: Organize events and workshops to foster internal security awareness.

Requirement:
- Experience: 5+ years in software product development or enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Domain Expertise: 1-2 years managing product security compliance, focusing on Common Criteria and NIST/FIPS or ISO standards.
- Virtualization & Cloud-Native Expertise: Familiarity with Linux, hypervisor technology stacks, and containerized virtualization.
- Project Execution: Strong track record using standard tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Soft Skills & Communication: Outstanding diplomatic and negotiation skills; fluent in English (German, Spanish, or Italian is a plus).
- Credentials: Recognized project management qualification (e.g., PMP, GPM/IPMA level C/D).
