Senior Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer (Python, . NET or Java) to join a newly forming team that develops and maintains sales configurator solutions for Client Electrification. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment to model and maintain distribution systems and service products. You will work closely with product sales configurators, portfolio managers, and engineers to ensure the configurator platform meets the needs of our customers and sales team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Poland. Your tasksDesigning, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting product models for distribution systems and service offeringsDeveloping product models as defined by Product Managers and Sales Configurators, ensuring they are well-structured for quality change managementCollaborating with relevant IS and Business stakeholders to deliver user-friendly and efficient Sales Configurator solutionsWorking closely with the platform supplier to ensure the integrity of the product model as the platform evolvesProviding technical support, troubleshooting, and fixing issues reported by usersContributing to the overall sales configurator development processRequirementsMinimum 6 years of experience in software development, particularly in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, . NET, or JavaProven experience in product modeling and configuration within sales configurator tools like Tacton or Configit ACEKnowledge of ABB's DS and SE Division portfolio is a strong plusStrong team player with an independent and solution-oriented working styleAbility to adapt in an agile and changing environment and a willingness to learnFluent EnglishNice-to-have requirementsFamiliarity with software development processes and tools such as Azure DevOps
