The Position Strategic Marketing & Chapter Lead Almere, Netherlands At Roche Diagnostics, we are transforming healthcare by bridging the gap between innovative diagnostic solutions and commercial adoption. As our Strategic Marketing & Chapter Lead, you will hold a pivotal, dual-impact role: driving the long-term commercial strategy for our healthcare transformation platform while nurturing and coaching a high-performing team of marketing experts. In this leadership position, you will shape the market presence of our diagnostics portfolio in the Netherlands. You will balance strategic business development, ensuring our innovations successfully navigate complex tenders and reach the right healthcare professionals, with proactive chapter leadership. As a mentor and coach, you will foster a culture of marketing craftsmanship, data-driven experimentation, and enterprise thinking. What you will do As a strategic business partner and people leader, your outcomes will directly drive market success and team capability. You will: Drive Marketing Strategy: Connect global priorities with the Dutch market to build a seamless, integrated marketing roadmap that drives long-term business growth and clear value creation. Nurture Marketing Craftsmanship: Act as a senior marketing sparring partner for your chapter, developing the strategic, digital, and soft skills of your team members. Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central point of contact for portfolio prioritization, navigating competing interests within and between Networks and portfolio overarching initiatives to optimize resources. Empower Through Agile Leadership: Promote a collaborative culture as a Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach, ensuring an empowered mindset thrives away from traditional hierarchy. Synchronize Market Launch & Excellence: Partner closely with Sales and Network leaders to align customer segmentation, product launches, pricing strategies, and competitive tender responses. Manage Performance & Growth: Provide consistent individual coaching and manage team development through frequent feedback loops, continuous capability building, and alignment with the Network (business) Leads. What you will bring You are a proactive and collaborative leader who thrives on breaking down silos and navigating complex commercial environments. You combine an enterprise mindset with the business acumen to turn market insights into high-impact launch plans, balancing short-term results with long-term commercial sustainability. As a coach, you are dedicated to professional growth, both your own and your team's, and you foster a safe environment for new ideas. You will also bring: Commercial Track Record: 8 to 10 years of experience in a complex commercial environment, including at least 5 years focused on strategic marketing, ideally within MedTech, Diagnostics, or Life Sciences. Leadership & Mentorship: Proven experience in coaching high-performing, professional teams and managing diverse internal and external stakeholders. Financial & Tender Acumen: Demonstrated proficiency in pricing strategies, tender management, and managing commercial budgets with a strong focus on ROI. Professional & Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A professional marketing qualification, such as NIMA C or an MBA, is highly preferred. Market Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Dutch healthcare ecosystem, compliance regulations, and commercial stakeholder dynamics in the Netherlands. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with professional fluency in English, while Dutch language proficiency is highly preferred for local market engagement. Why Roche?
