About Remody

Remody is a startup redesigning the analog, complex operations of financial institutions with generative-AI-native products.

Financial institutions still run on a huge amount of manual, people-dependent work: documents in inconsistent formats, approval flows that live in Excel and email, and decision criteria that exist only in someone's head. We are rebuilding these workflows from the ground up with our own products.

 

About this Role

We are looking for someone who can "decide and verify" — not just write code.

Now that AI coding is the norm, a large share of implementation can be delegated to AI agents. What we need from human engineers is the work before and after: observing customers' ambiguous business problems, defining what should be solved, and turning it into implementable specifications — then verifying that what you and the AI built is actually correct, and owning quality that can be shipped to financial institutions.

The data we handle is not textbook-clean: inconsistent document formats, dates mixing Japanese and Western calendars, amounts in mismatched units. In a domain where "the automation works, but the numbers are quietly wrong" is the worst possible failure, we value most the ability to anticipate where things break and design verification.

 

What You'll Do

• Define the problems to solve and turn them into specifications, based on interviews and observation of customers' business challenges
• Design pipelines that structure unstructured data (PDFs, forms, statements, business documents)
• Evaluate generative AI / agent technologies and decide which business processes to apply them to, and at what quality bar
• Analyze error patterns in AI output, build evaluation datasets, and design verification processes
• Design the reliability financial-institution products require: RBAC, audit logs, re-runnability
• Build and operate the product end-to-end in partnership with AI agents — TypeScript / React on the frontend, Python / Go / FastAPI on the backend, MySQL and AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB) for infrastructure
• Help design our AI-native development process itself: AI coding + AI review + human review, with design decisions documented so agents can reuse them

 

Required Qualifications

• Experience organizing ambiguous business requirements or decision criteria and turning them into implementable specifications
• Professional-level software development experience in Python, Go, or similar (an exact language match is not required; we expect the ability to design and review code)
• Experience integrating LLMs / generative AI into applications or business-process improvement
• Experience evaluating and verifying AI output, and driving improvements from error-pattern analysis

 

Nice to Have

• Experience designing and implementing structured processing of unstructured data such as PDFs, forms, and statements (especially welcome)
• Experience building document-processing, information-extraction, or reconciliation systems using LLMs, OCR, or Document AI
• Experience with the data foundations that support AI quality: evaluation datasets, annotation design, evaluation metrics
• Hands-on generative AI operations experience: prompt improvement, evaluation design, RAG, workflow design
• Web application development experience with React or similar
• A habit of reading English technical documentation and keeping up with overseas models and libraries

私たちが求めるのは、「書ける人」ではなく「決めて、検証できる人」です。

AIコーディングが当たり前になったいま、実装のかなりの部分はAIエージェントに委譲できます。人間のエンジニアに求めるのは、その前後にある仕事です。顧客の曖昧な業務課題を観察し、「何を解くべきか」を定義して実装可能な仕様に落とすこと。そして、AIと自分が作ったものが本当に正しいかを検証し、金融機関に出せる品質に責任を持つことです。

私たちの扱うデータは、教科書的なきれいなデータではありません。フォーマットの違う帳票、和暦と西暦が混在する日付、単位の不統一な金額。「自動化はできたが数字が静かに間違っている」ことが最大の事故になる領域で、壊れる箇所を予見し、検証を設計できる力を最も重視します。

 

主な業務内容

• 顧客の業務課題のヒアリング・観察をもとにした、解くべき問題の定義と仕様化
• 不定形データ（PDF・帳票・明細・業務文書）を構造化するパイプラインの設計
• 生成AI / エージェント技術の評価と、「どの業務に・どの品質水準で」組み込むかの判断
• AI出力の誤り傾向分析、評価データ整備、検証プロセスの設計
• RBAC、監査ログ、再実行性など、金融機関向けプロダクトに必要な信頼性の設計
• AIエージェントと分担しながらのプロダクト開発・運用（フロントエンド：TypeScript / React、バックエンド：Python / Go / FastAPI、インフラ：MySQL、AWS（ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB））
• AIコーディング＋AIレビュー＋人レビューの多層検証など、AI-nativeな開発プロセスそのものの設計への参画

 

必須要件

• 曖昧な業務要件や判断基準を整理し、実装可能な仕様に落とし込んだ経験
• Python、Go等を用いた実務レベルのソフトウェア開発経験（言語の完全一致は不問。設計とコードレビューができる水準を想定しています）
• LLM・生成AIをアプリケーションまたは業務改善に組み込んだ経験
• AIの出力結果を評価・検証し、誤り傾向の分析から改善につなげた経験

 

歓迎スキル

• PDF・帳票・明細など不定形データの構造化処理の設計・実装経験（特に歓迎）
• LLM、OCR、Document AI等を活用した文書処理・情報抽出・照合システムの開発経験
• 正解データ・評価データの整備、アノテーション設計、評価指標設計など、AI品質を支えるデータ基盤の経験
• プロンプト改善、評価設計、RAG、ワークフロー設計など生成AIの実運用経験
• React等を用いたWebアプリケーション開発経験
• 英語の技術文書を読み、海外のモデル・ライブラリをキャッチアップする習慣
